I know I’m not the only person in the world who is dying to go to Sydney next summer for WYD. I also know that I’m not the only one worrying about the expenses to get there.
Therefore, I ask on behalf of all the youth in the world who desire to go to WYD08, that you pray that expenses will cease to be a problem and a cause for “dropping out.”
I think it will be a great idea to place this intention into the hands of the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph. All, especially the youth, are their children, so it is only appropriate to turn to our beloved parents for their help. Also, many will be doing a lot of working to raise money, so who better to ask for help from than St. Joseph the Worker?
I also believe that, since this is a world-gathering event, we should ask for prayers from the Church Triumphant. Prayers for the Church Suffering would also be to our benefit.
Mary, our mother, pray for us.
