Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for us to redeem us and bring us closer to God. The ultimate sacrifice. Here we are reducing it all to a simple X. Isnt that hurtful? I would request all Christians to refrain from doing so and use the full word for Christmas and not Xmas. ThanksIf you’re a Xian what kind of Xmas decorations do you use? Are most of them Christ-centered?
Mine aren’t, to be honest. I have a wonderful nativity that I inherited, and there are several religious ornaments on our tree, but most of what I decorate with isn’t specifically Christ-centered. The tree itself and all other greenery, of course, has specific christian symbolism.
My ornaments are symbols of our lives. Baby’s 1st Xmas, Grandchild. Reindeer. Santa Claus. There’s even a leg lamp. lol
What do you think of Xmas decorations? Should they be predominantly Christ-centered?
Now regarding the celebration, yes, we have gone astray and are promoting all that Jesus never wants. He wants our hearts to be clean and to Love God with all our heart, mind and soul, but here we prefer in decorating our houses, and informing pagens what Christmas is, full enjoyment, lots of food and gifts. Ultimately giving our wealth to those business people who may not even believe in Jesus.
