Yea for Confession

FANTASTIC SUNNYGIRL! It makes me so happy when I read these stories. If it makes us this happy can you imagine how happy our Eternal Father is…

O my God,
I am heartily sorry for
having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God,
Who are all good and
deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins,
to do penance,
and to amend my life.
Amen.

Thank you Jesus for the wonderful sacrament of reconciliation! We pray that more christians will find your mercy & love through the most wonderful of Sacremants!

That’s awesome! I belong to a very large parish and confessions are on Saturdays between 10:30 and 11:00. I’ve never had to wait…not once.

That’s too bad. Maybe the Priests need to speak on the importance of confession. Our Priests work it into the homily every so often and we have several confession times & there’s ALWAYS a long line… even with 3 Priests hearing confession at the same time. We know if we don’t get in line early, we won’t get in. I think it’s a wonderful thing.

I think so too…I know our lines get to be long too. Of course when I go, there is always a line of at least 6 of us. Maybe more parents should get the message that they are responsible for taking their children with them.
