See… told you there was a difference. 😉 You can offer your view in one sentence,

The reformed Atonement has too many flaws to list here … CAF limits 5000 words to a reply, so it would take about 30 replies to address your question.

Perhaps, in about a week, I can have available to you a presentation on the Atonement which Christ’s One Church has believed and taught for 2000 years. It is much more awesome and Christ centered than anything from Calvin etc.

In the meantime, perhaps you could assemble a clear idea of reformed atonement.

.
Sufficent for those whom the atonement was intended. The gospel is a universal call and command to come to Christ, but the atonement applies sufficiently for those who are enabled by God to the praise of His glorious saving and sustaining grace. If salvation is all of God, then there is no room to boast. Maybe here’s the summary verse:

1 Timothy 1:15
The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

The difference in view is that God actually saves sinners as compared to giving mankind an opportunity to be saved and control his own eternal fate. I think my view proclaims the sovereignity of God in salvation.
