You have made us a kingdom and priests

Hi all

I have been wondering about this passage from Revelations in the Divine Office readings for a while now.

“You have made us a Kingdom and Priests to our God and we shall reign on Earth…”

What is the correct understanding of “made us” as it can have two meanings in English.

You have "turned us into"a Kingdom and Priests to our God

or

You have “created for us” a Kingdom and Priests to our God

or both of the above?

I’m pretty sure it’s a quote from Rev. 1:6. Checking parallel translations assures me that it means “turned us into”.
