Your Favorite Saints’ Intercession Stories

This morning, my time; my fiancé texted me that when she found a baby chick crying because his Mama hen died. She sent me a video of her holding the chick in her hand as he chirped away. She didn’t know what to do.

I didn’t know what to do either. Then, Saint Francis of Assisi was in my mind.

So, I told her to pray to Saint Francis. She did and then asked her Papa what to do. He told her to go find another hen and release the chick to her so she could adopt him. She told me this and I told her to make the Sign of the Cross over the chick and talk sweetly to the chick to calm him down. She did and the chick was adopted by another hen.

I then told her to pray to Saint Francis in thanksgiving. The chick was later found sleeping in the yard.

I figured that I’d share this story and ask to all: What are your favorite stories of Saint intercessions in your life?

The chick was later found sleeping in the yard.

The chick should be with its new mother and sleeping under her. They sleep under the hen as this is how the correct temperature is maintained. This happens until they grow feathers. Has she thrown it out of the nest? If so it will need to be kept at a specific temperature, (google it) under heat lamps, provided with very shallow water , and fed chick pellets.
