I’m reading Fr. Jean Corbon’s Path to Freedom, and he makes a good point about a person’s name.
Certainly for most if not all Catholics, their first name was given sacramentally in Baptism. It is our spiritual re-birth as a new creation. Our name is a reminder of that great event in our life.
