I never knew my father, and so I can’t say anything about that side of the family. However on my mother’s side, I can trace both my grandmother and grandfather’s families back a decent way.
On my grandmother’s side, she is from the Welsh Rhondda valley where Methodism is pretty much the dominant faith. I know little about this side of the family simply for the fact my Welsh is terrible and you don’t get far without it.
On my grandfather’s side, I’m aware that at some point in the 19th century, my grandfather’s ancestors were Jewish migrants. But my grandfather himself is Anglican, being raised in a small North-Eastern English mining village.

My mother was raised Anglican but turned into an atheist. I myself was a Baptist but attach myself to no one church yet.
