Dear Friends,
Only yesterday I had the following fruit from contemplation. I know I am taking a chance here as I have never actually published any of these. I receive many thoughts like these. I tend to spend some time on them and then I allow then to be forgotten. I don’t even write them down. I am recording this one only. Why? I do not know.
Maybe it is nothing more that the thoughts from my own mind I don’t know. I need you, my friends, to give it a look and let me know your feelings. If you have any additions you would like to add, please feel free. I probably will publish this along with any additions.
**A thought on the Cross **
The Cross…
An instrument of death, a symbol of life
An instrument of weakness, a symbol of strength
An instrument of pain, a symbol of healing
An instrument of finality, a symbol of new life
An instrument of fear, a symbol of courage
An instrument of shame, a symbol of pride
An instrument of punishment, a symbol of example
An instrument of condemnation, a symbol of forgivness
An instrument of rejection, a symbol of acceptance
An instrument of arrogance, a symbol of humility
An instrument of hate, a symbol of love
An instrument of murder, a symbol of sacrifice
An instrument of despair, a symbol of hope
An instrument of failure, a symbol of accomplishment.
An instrument of isolation, a symbol of community.
An instrument forced upon shoulders, a symbol lovingly embraced.
One man’s decision, another Man’s destiny
