That is wonderful to hear some good news for a change. The struggle and fight for the unborn can at times seem so depressing. Of course saving even just one baby makes all the effort worthwhile, it is refreshing to hear about once in a while. Though that is not necessary, as long as they are being saved, it doesn’t matter if I hear of it. In God’s good time.

I get a regular report on saves vs number going in to the abortuary from the nearest one. I told myself I’d go there on a more regular basis last summer, but didn’t. I need to follow through better this year. There were 3 saves last Friday. The abortionist has a rubber chicken on a cross in one of the windows! The cross has a big IHS at the top.
One of the sidewalk prayer warriors is an elderly man who’d spent time in a Soviet prison for being Catholic! He got out in '69 and came to the US. He really understands oppression and evil.
One of the sisters from our parish goes there every Friday; has a snowmoblie suit to wear in the coldest weather. What a trooper!

Wanted to add:
Our pro-life group often holds baby showers for women who choose life. They are usually overwhelmed with presents; everything a baby could need. Sometimes they even get a bed which the child can use for years! I think this is a really nice idea, and especially in these hard economic times.
Women can earn clothes, diapers, and other stuff at the local Pregnancy Clinic by attending classes.
