Are you out of your cotton pickin’ mind? Salvation has everything to do with eternity; without salvation you don’t get eternal life! Now, listen carefully; in one of your earlier posts, you said,"we offer Christ’s eternal sacrifice before the Father, on our behalf, and you offered verses which had nothing to do with sacrifice! And look at the pot callin’ the kettle black, my angrier friend! I know that eternity is the only type of existence in Heaven, and I’m looking forward to it! You made my day, bro’; thanks!
YOUR post #708:
And why do you insist on berating people about eternity? None of what we have been discussing has anything to do with eternity!
Either you have a very short memory or you are out of your mind. I choose to believe the former, not the latter. You simply do not know or understand the Scriptures and you shouldn’t try to argue about them until you learn. You flip-flop and switch positions more times than a Democrat.

Rev. 13:8
, tells us that the Lamb was slain before the** foundation of the world. His is an ETERNALsacrifice. **Rev. 5:6 **says, “And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.”

**Every reputable Protestant Scripture scholar holds to the position that Christ was crucified before the foundation of the world - every one of them - EXCEPT for you. **
But, then again - did say, “reputable” . . .

Yes, Jesus did say,"This is My BODY, and this is My BLOOD!👍 And He did command us to ,“as often as you do this, do this in remembrance of Me!” I would rather say that we eternally remember the ONE sacrifice that Jesus made, which was for all time. If you remember, He said,“It is finished!”👍
Tell me something. When Jesus told the criminal on the cross beside him, "Today, you will be with me in paradise" - was he speaking of that same earthly 24-hour day?

I can’t WAIT to hear this one . . .

I surely hope that you are not representative of catholics around the world! Your anger, and grating demeanor really dampen the discussion! I know the Bible better than you give me credit for! I know that the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world! Geeeez! And believe it or not His ONE sacrifice lasts for eternity! Please reread Hebrews 10, especially verses 10-14! P.S. Out of my mind, back in 10 minutes!:p;)

Now, you are the idiot! Jesus said,“I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise!” My, my elvisman you are scaring me with your ignorance!

And ther is nothing in scripture that tells us to offer Christ as the eternl sacrifice before the Father! He made One, uno, ein sacrifice, and then sat down at the right hand of God.
**Ummm . . . here’s another reference to his ETERNAL Sacrifice:

1 Pet. 1:17-21
"Now if you invoke as Father him who judges impartially according to each one’s works, conduct yourselves with reverence during the time of your sojourning, realizing that you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold but with the precious blood of Christ as of a spotless unblemished lamb. He (the spotless Lamb) was known before the foundation of the world but revealed in the final time for you, who through him believe in God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God."

Game. Set. MATCH!!
