Is there some particular group of kids that should be beat at school? If so, which ones?what’s next? a bestiality rights group trying to teach our kids their propaganda in schools? what about NAMBLA? i always wondered where “tolerance” stops and common sense steps in.
I am guessing he is not promoting the beating of children or bullying or anything like that. It is just as the poster above suggested that “safety” will be a trojan horse if you will, a false pretense by which to justify legislation. What I fear is that eventually a priest or preacher at the pulpit who speaks about morality will be accused of incitement in some bogus manner and will be muzzled by the law (if not prosecuted for speech).Is there some particular group of kids that should be beat at school? If there are no such kids, then why object to advocating against beating kids?
I agree hate crime legislation is silly. But, do you realize Catholics have been covered by federal hate crime legislation since 1968? If you are beaten half to death, and the perp turns around and beats the athiest standing next to you, has the athiest had less of a crime committed against him?I am guessing he is not promoting the beating of children or bullying or anything like that. This “hate crime” legislation is really silly, even if it goes no further than it currently has. If I, a white heterosexual male get beaten half to death and the perpetrator turns around and beats a homosexual standing next to me half to death, have I had less of a crime committed against me? It’s just a silly pretense for a serious subject, in my opinion…

We should note that in all cases the prosecustion must demonstrate the motivation for the assault was the victim’s membership in a covered group.
Are you suggesting there is a lot of homosexuality in religion? Why? That would be insightful, but personally, I would have to eschew that notion. But, in any case, it’s good to have you back. How’s school?Translation:
homosexuality = religion.
Very insightful.

Thanks.But, in any case, it’s good to have you back.
Good. Finals time…you know how that goes. Gotta’ find time to post when I can.How’s school?
So, we have Catholics protected by hate crime legislation since 1968. Is that appropriate? Should there be groups that are special and crimes against them are more serious than crimes against others? Why should an assault against a Catholic be considered more serious than an attack against an athiest?
See what happens? The really special people get appropriate protection, but then the lumpen want the same thing. People just don’t know their place anymore.
You’re just so…I don’t know…wise. Yup. That’s definitely the word.But it’s good Catholics are raising our awareness of this situation. I presume they will campaign to have themselves removed from special protected status?
Wanna’ swap credentials on what we’ve done to support it?Ain’t this a great country?
Wisdom is a gift, and I try to share with others. So, study hard for those finals and get a good nights sleep. You never can tell when you’ll have to support yourself.Thanks.

Franks is good. Don’t know enough about Thompson to say anything worthwhile.I am a Tommy Franks fan. Hunter S. Thompson, too. How about you?
Translation:And how about religion and homosexuality? Did you really intend to equate them? That’s harsh. Very harsh. Someone’s feelings could be hurt.
So I take that as a no, you don’t want to swap credentials?Ain’t this a great country!!!
I agree with you. However, you seem to deride those describing it as such. Confusing.I agree hate crime legislation is silly.
Yep and they have a religion that they want seen, not just as an accepted one within society, no, they want society to see them as superior to traditional heterosexual marriages. And society is ever increasing in its acceptance of this type of lifestyle; apathetic mostly. We Christians need to hold our ground against these groups, resist their ways and pray against their immoral acts. To many Christians are like the people in Laodicea who weren’t hot nor cold but lukewarm and look what God said He would do with them…Translation:
homosexuality = religion.

Didn’t realize that. I am surprised Rosie O’Donnell isn’t behind bars! That would be so ironic the universe would end on the spot.I agree hate crime legislation is silly. You do you know that Thompson blew his brains out? I suggest you might need to look for some new heros to look up to.I am a Tommy Franks fan. Hunter S. Thompson, too. How about you?.
I agree I have wisdom, magnanimity, courage, and humility. I’m glad sharing my wisdom with you has nudged you to the correct path. Where had you been headed?So courageously magnanimous of you.

You know, if you’re going to continue to talk about what I do, it’s only polite for you to tell me what you do for a living.

No. I deride those who say it is a danger to preachers reading the bible in front of their congregation.I agree with you. However, you seem to deride those describing it as such. Confusing.

“Thompson was sitting at his typewriter with the word “counselor” written in the center of the page.”
