Any takers:
My apology for the way I worded my last entry. Upon reading it again it may sound abrupt. I truly just want to dig into this part of divine revelation and find out why God wanted it there.
Why do the singers in 1 Chronicles 25 who are chosen by lot appear to form a pattern under their fathers names? That is, a lot should be random, but when you match up the lot number with the same name under their father earlier in Chapter 25 there is a odds and even pattern.
In fact, when you connect the dots of this pattern, using the father’s as the heading of 4 collumns, a picture is formed of a needle and thread.
Is there someone out there who wants to try to verify this? Is there anyone out there who has heard commentaries on this pattern?
If it was a true lot picking, only God could have made that pattern. Personally I believe the authors put it in there to draw a deeper meaning to the Revelation. What that meaning could be, who knows? But the meaning is important for scholars to pursue if this is truly divine revelation. I am surprised that there is little or no information on this subject.
