Yes for you I should have qualified my statement some. I should have remembered that the Mormons, Jehovah Witness, and others have their own Bibles
Verse 8 says “If we say we have no sin.” Present tense, right now. It does not say “If we say we have never had any sin.” You are twisting Scripture. You need to believe what was written, not what you wish was written.
(1 John 1: 8-10) If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
