1 Timothy 4:1-5. Having trouble with this one

Saint Paul was aiming this remark at religions that forbade marriage altogether. There are some more recent ones that forbid marriage too. In fact, Saint Paul highly recommended the single life, saying that, while marriage is perfectly acceptable, that the unmarried person in the Church is anxious about the affairs of the Lord but the married person is anxious about the affairs of the world(1 Cor 7:8-35).
Furthermore even Christ fasted, as in the famous passage where he fasted for 40 days. You don’t think Christ disbelieved that creation is good, do you?
