There were no bloody pitched battles, because there were no christian states to support large christian armies for a few centuries, but do you honestly believe that a christian would stand by and do nothing while, for example, a child is killed in front of them? Where is the love of Christ in that? Did you only read my comments and not the words of Christ?

I do have a question though: If it were you and your mother at home and an intruder broke in, and was going to rape your mother then kill her and a gun was the only way to stop him, would you still have the position that you don’t want a gun?
