$100,000 debt - please pray for us!

Hey guys

I thought I’d drop by and ask for your prayers as we’ve just been landed with a $100,000 bill for legal costs following my parents’ 7 year divorce.

We’re trying to get it removed as the lawyers have screwed the case badly. A team of koalas could have done a better job. We lost everything except our family home and now the bills will be secured against our home. As if we aren’t struggling enough already :rolleyes:

Is it a sin to passionately hate all lawyers? How can they make so much money, do they not have a conscience? :rolleyes:

If you’re in Australia you can complain to the Law Society, in the US the state bar. This is a free service. I am praying for you.

Indeed. Complain loud and long. And as a future lawyer (hopefully, though not in the area of Family Law) I resent the comparison with koalas - it’s an insult to the koalas 😛

My husband feels the same way about lawyers as you do. I will keep you in my prayers.
