11 Year Old with Cancer

Just found out that a co-worker’s granddaughter has been diagnosed with cancer of the mouth. She is going for more extensive testing to see if it is isolated and then will decide upon radiation and chemo. Alison is old enough to be scared to death and understands what can happen. Please pray for her and her family. Many thanks.

May The Lord comfort and console Alison, bringing her strength, and bring her healing - will be keeping her in prayer…

Thanks everyone for your prayers. I e-mailed her telling her about the responses and that they were coming from all over the world. She and her Mom thought that it was awesome. Her mom is a single mom and this is going to be very difficult, especially with a little boy to cope with and pay attention to amidst it all. She is having tests today to determine if the cancer is isolated. Praying that it is. God bless you all.

Praying…I will ask for Fr Fernando’s prayers also. Fr Fernando has a healing service scheduled in Indiana in May. I don’t know if you are close to Munster or not.

Oh my gosh-this is terrible. I will pray for your coworker’s granddaughter. My daughter is 11 years old, and I just can’t imagine a child having to endure this.😦 Please know she’s in my prayers.
 
Heavenly Father, source of all healing and mercy, we pray that it is your will to heal this child. Make your face shine upon her and give her comfort, relieve her pain and fear, give her hope that better days are ahead, and give her single mother the resources she needs to care for her little family. We love you Lord, and bring all needs and desires before you. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
