114,000 new adult Americans Catholics last night

It was an amazing Easter vigil service and a wonderful experience. I’m so happy to have FINALLY been able to partake in the Eucharist!!! However, I feel like I still have soooo much more to learn. Thanks for the congratulations everyone 😃 and I’d like to offer my own heartfelt addition of congratulations to the others who went through the RCIA journey as well. 👍
 
Our Deacon, who is in charge of RCIA, revealed to us after the Vigil that he has already had 6 inquiries into next years’ program!
 
My two oldest boys (12 and 10) were received into the Church last night, were confirmed, and had their first communion. Our parish had about 20 people enter the church last night between those being baptized and those converting from other denominations. We are so happy for our whole family to all be part of the Catholic church together now!!👍
 
Congrats to all of the new Catholics. At the church I attended, we had 2 people receive all 3 sacraments of initiation, and about 10 or 12 people be confirmed & receive their First Eucharist. They ranged in age from about 10 years old and up, with most of them adult age.
 
My husband is one of the many from Canada. I’m so happy for him!
 
I’m thrilled to hear this! We had thirty-five in my diocese, and I was grateful to be at the Easter vigil Mass to witness their reception, a few baptisms, but mostly confirmations and first Eucharists.

I wish there was a smiley to indicate back-flips and “Woot Woot!”
