I"m interested to know the context of the quotes to get a bigger and better understanding of them.

I’ve never heard of “Church Pop” before…have you?
When a publication quotes people and does not give the source, it sends up red flags to me.

I emailed the EOC to ask but…thought if these were well-known quotes, someone might know from where they originate.

These are well-known quotes.
The important thing for me is that you see “red flags” here. This tells me that you not only do not believe these are actual quotes from the saints, but that the quotes themselves are hard for you to believe.
But really - what do you know about these saints:
St. John Chrysostom
St. Jean Vianney
St. Padre Pio
St. Francis of Assisi
St. Peter Julian Eymard
St. Gregory the Great
St. Leonard of Port Maurice … ?

How much of their writings have you read? Nothing?
If nothing, then you can’t be saying “I know St. Francis of Assisi’s words and there’s no way he could have said that” - because you haven’t read them (the same with the others).
Instead, I think what you’ll say is “I couldn’t believe anyone could have said any of those quotes posted, now that I see those references, it leads me to question the credibility of those saints”.

So for me, the question is “why do you find those quotes hard to believe”?

I just started at the bottom of the list,

“I believe that were it not for the Holy Mass, as of this moment the world would be in the abyss.” St. Leonard of Port Maurice

You see “red flags” - perhaps you think someone just made this quote up to deceive people? No - don’t worry. You can fully believe he said it. The great saint wrote that in his book, “The Hidden Treasure, The Holy Mass” - page 18.

So, you see it’s true that he said it - now, are you interested enough to read the entire book?
