Quick update. I’ve had my grandson over a couple times this last few weeks. I’ve asked how he’s doing, does he feel happy, because he has been depressed for so long. Does he feel like life is easier, etc. He says he is no longer wanting to “transition” and understands that was not the direction he should go to seek inner peace. I told him he has a a large group of us praying for him. He looked at me sideways with a quizzical look (remember I said he no longer “believes”), he asked who? and I told him. He said he sincerely appreciates it. He has also asked a couple times “Gma, if I don’t believe is Jesus, what happens when I die, will I never see you again?” So, I think he is moving in the right direction, ever so slowly! Thank you so much for all your continuing prayers.

Katherine, thank you so much for your daily prayers. As of now, I think my grandson is doing better emotionally and no longer responds with antagonism if something is said during a conversation about praying or faith. Please don’t feel you have to send a prayer every day, I know there are so many people who need prayers and I believe you have helped. Thank you again. You are a beautiful soul.
 
I find it a privilege to be allowed to pray for people in need … unless you object, I will continue to pray for your grandson whenever I have the time … grandchildren are a gift … I know … my daughter recently gave me the gift of two grandchildren. God Bless you and your grandson.

Thank you for your continued prayers. I wish there were more people like you in this world. Yes, grandchildren are a blessing and congratulations to you. Since I moved into my own apartment (I did not move because of my grandson, he is my blessing, a headache, but a blessing. I moved due to constant arguments with my daughter since her divorce and her boyfriend moving in). Since then, my grandson texts me EVERY morning while he waits for his school bus to see how I’m doing. Like I said in my original post, he is a big hearted guy and cares very much. So no, I would never tell you to not pray, I just didn’t want it to interfere with your other prayer circles, time related. God bless you and your family.
