The spirit of prophecy being men and women willing to speak out as the Spirit prompts to a world in need of God’s wisdom and guidance. Many discern what the Spirit says, but the spirit is quenched if men and women fail to courageously speak out to a needful world. Here is a longer account of the homily from Vatican Insider. Since there doesn’t seem to be an example of what he considers clericalism in this homily, I wonder if he had this in mind:*Women in the Church must be valued not “clericalised”. (Pope Francis, Dec. 17, 2013)*
