So if He let average age men be killed but not elderly people, women and children, He would have been more loving?
This life is not what we are created for. So death is not the end of the story, but an entry into eternal life. God did not need to create us but freely chose to do so to show forth His glory and to allow us to share in it. Furthermore, God has no moral duty towards us as we have towards others and to God, He is not simply one creature among many.

Those who perished in the flood, perished because they had sinned and refused to repent. Little children died, yes but we all suffer for the sins of others. If my parents were alcoholics, I am going to suffer because of that. God allows evil so that good may come out of it. Now we are so blessed after our sins, that we can call Jesus, Saviour.

Jesus was innocent, yet died. And everytime we sin, we are turning away from that same loving Saviour who shed His blood so that we may live.

I have not answered all your questions, but I have given some sort of outline.

  1. How do you explain other planets?
What’s to explain about them?
They exist. Maybe we or more likely, our descendants, will explore them and make use of them. Or maybe, when we have our Spiritual Bodies in heaven (yes, we will have a body in Heaven) we will be able to explore the rest of GOD’s universe.

Or are you asking about “life” on them? We can’t know one way or the other. It really isn’t our business, IMNAAHO. Our task is to live human life and find our way to life everlasting… Not to philosophize about other forms of life that may, or may not, be there, and would be too far away, and we couldn’t talk to anyway.

  1. Why does God allow good people to suffer from diseases?
Why wouldn’t they? “Good people” and “bad people” have the same kind of bodies, which are subject to the law of entropy, which means they break down. Living a “good life” doesn’t change your body, or the world you live in.

None of us wants to suffer from unwellness. But it has to happen. Even if only at the last moment of life, when you wake up and can’t breathe, and your eyes roll back in your head, you will be very unwell those last seconds. It won’t matter then how healthy a life you had. Unwellness happens to everybody.

But GOD didn’t make us to hang on desperately to a deteriorating form in a deteriorating world. Our human bodies are not forever. They are there to walk us to our Spiritual Bodies in eternity. “There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body” (1 Co 15). Once fitted with the Spiritual Body, and breathing Heavenly life, you will be freed from all the suffering of you human life both physical and mental.

  1. If God does not change his mind, why do we pray? God does not have a “mind”, HE is pure spirit and HIS will is immutable. HIS desire is that we all follow the commandments, the first of which requests us to love and serve HIM. I think what you meant to ask, how/why does prayer work? In order that we can fullfill the first commandment.
  2. Why would God create someone who will go to hell?
God does not create people to go to hell. HE creates people to have a free will, that we can “freely” chose to go to hell, if that is the desire of our heart, as expressed in our life’s choices.
  3. Do people of other religions go to hell?
Bein in “another religion” does not preempt GOD from existence, and nullify HIS commandments. All souls will be subject to the final judgement based upon the choices we have made - which includes the sacrament of confession through which we can be forgiven for our evil and and bad choices.
  4. What happens to people who believe only because they don’t want to go to hell?
God knows all or hearts. HE knows if you believe or if you pretend to believe.
  5. If God knew that we were going to sin, why did he flood the earth?
God wants all to live with HIM in heaven. Those on the earth at the time of the flood had turned their back on GOD. HE gave them 100 years ( very, very, very patient) to amend their live - which is the time it took to build the Ark. GOD will not hold HIS punishment or justice forever. HE is GOD, we are not, we owe HIM everything, and if we chose to ignore HIS commandments, HE will not hold HIS punishment forever - - - now how long have we been killing our children through abortion ???
  6. When God flooded the earth he killed women, children, and elderly people. How is this loving?
**It is punishment. HE loved them into creation. HE loved them to teach them the truth. HE loved them by giving them 100 years to turn back to HIM. **
  7. How do we know what to take literally in the bible?
The Bible is the inspired word of GOD. The truth it teaches, whether in poetry (Book of Job), or literally (The Gospels) can be “taken” as absolutely valid in the message it teaches. Did every thing actually happen as described? Unkown, but every truth that is taught cannot be ignored. You cannot say, “since there is no proof that Jonah was in the belly of the whale, I am going to continue to ignore my conscience and sin.” Jonah was swallowed because he chose to ignore and run away from what GOD asked of him. Are you running from what your conscience is telling you about GOD?
  8. How do we know that Jesus’ miracles were real?
You can research them, or go read Lee Stobels, “The Case for Christ”.
  9. God seemed very active in the bible but is not anymore. Why is this?
HE is indeed very active through HIS spouse the Virgin Mary, HIS Coredemptrix. Go to www.queenship.org and order the book IN THE END MY IMMACULATE HEART WILL TRIUMPH
  10. How do you feel the presence of God?
**Through the HOLY SPIRIT, who will visit you if you give your life to Jesus. **
  11. Why does God allow good people to suffer from diseases?
GOD made a perfect world in which death was nonexistant. We were not made to die. Through the sin of Adam & Eve, death entered the world. We, through our first parents, chose death. Can GOD change all that and make disease and death go away, yes, but HE allows you and me and us, to live with the choices we made. When HE returns again, HE will “wipe away every tear” and remove death and disease.
  12. So many religions contradict each other. Why would God allow this?
HE allows us to live with our choices. If we do not chose HIM, HE does not step in and say, STOP, you are going the wrong way, HE say’s, "I gave you free will to know, love and serve ME, but if you chose NOT to do any of those, or create our own religion, then I shall be patient and love you and hope you return to ME"
  13. How does God choose miracles?
As HE see’s fit. We do not know the ways of GOD. HIS ways are so much higher than ours. However, there was a medical study done, that literally demonstrated that people who had others praying for them when they were ill, recovered more than those who did not. So, one way is by prayer. ALL way’s are by love. Research and read the miracle that happened in FATIMA, Portugal on October 13, 1917. Go to www.fatima.org and order the story magazine THE TRUE STORY OF FATIMA, A Complete Account of the Fatima Apparitions.
  14. If God is responsible for good things is He responsible for bad things also?
GOD is ALL good and is NOT bad. HE does not create bad things. HE does not interfer with the occrence of “bad things” , but HE does make all things work for good, even the bad ones. HE can move a person heart, who has been a victim of “bad things”, and turn it back to HIM.
  15. People of other religions claim to be called by God. How do you explain this?
**First, you need to explain what you are refering **
  16. Why did God create the world?
It was part of HIS plan
  17. How do you explain other planets?
What explanation is necessary? GOD created them as well.
Some of these mite not make sense but I appreciate everyone who tries.
You have taken the first step in knowing Jesus. I will pray that each question leads to a truth, which will open your heart to the grace of HIS Holy Mother, so that She may lead you home.
