1962 Breviary Common of Confessors

I have noticed recently in my breviary (the 1962 version) that for Bishops the rubrics will say to use the common of Confessors NOT bishops instead of the Common of Confessor Bishops. Is this an error? im using the Collegeville breviary. Looking back i dont think i ever used this common before.

It’s a mistake. To double check, I just looked at Pius X and Lorenzo Giustiniani in my Nova & Vetera breviary, both are* Commune Confessoris Pontificis*.

The *Commune Confessoris non Pontificis *is used in plenty of other cases, though, most recently St. Stephen of Hungary used it.
