My family goes back quite aways. Nobody in my family has theirs. All of them are gone.My mother was convinced that the TLM was going to be part of history. I am sure I will think a similar thing when it comes time to toss the Oregon Catholic Press.

I am anxious for my diocese…if this Moto comes about I will be keeping a close eye to see if a TLM pops up in my diocese. I hope it does happen
I have to say this really surprises me. Here in south Louisiana both my wife and I have our parents’ and grandparents’ Missals in addition to our own “little” St. Joseph’s Missals from when we made our First Communions and our “big” St. Jt. Joseph’s Missals from when we were confirmed. For Catholics of our generation (pre-VII), we never bought another Missal because of the constant changes to the Mass over the years; we rely upon the printed missalette.

YOu know I may be wrong both my wife and I come from BIG families. Both of us are the youngest child…in fact both of us are OOOOPS babies our next siblings are quite a bit older than us. We come from familes that have children who recieved their first communion pre-vatican 2 and some post vatican 2 I will check withi the siblings…the remaining few that are still Catholic that is

Pax Vobiscum,

I haven’t been to a LM and have been okay with NO, as we have reverent priests, but I am very excited about the “ressurection” of the LM. I am trying to learn Latin from my teacher at school so that I can understand the LM without having to look at the Missal every 2 seconds.🙂

…and so I can understand the writings of St. Gregory the Great and St. Thomas Aquinas as they were originally written.
