It would have probably been more simple as a number of the parts of the divine service really developed since Christianity became a licit religion allowing for the construction of building specifically designed for worship. First century worship would have closely approximated the Jewish synagogue format, but would have added the eucharist. Generally there would be a reading from the OT, just as there is now, then a Psalm would be sung, then a reading from the epistles, then a Psalm, then a reading from the Gospels and an explanation of the reading, then a Psalm. Sometime in this era we believe that the Kyrie developed, the Gloria, and the Sanctus as transitions between the parts of the service. Then catechumens would be dismissed, and the Eucharist would be celebrated.
