May The Lord bring comfort and consolation to Gene at what must be a difficult time and, indeed, to you and his family and all who love and care for him…Keeping all in prayer…
 
Thanks for the prayers everybody. I saw Gene this evening, and I’m sad to say it is probably the last time I will see him alive. I had a wonderful visit with him and I’m sure he’s ready for heaven.

Holy Spirit, Spirit of Life, given to each of us, please remain with Gene and sustain him respectfully and joyfully as he lives right now. Hold his hand we pray to Gene’s guardian angel, heavenly protector. We ask you to continue to stand guard over him during what could be trial of faith for sure. Spirit of Love surround him each day he is still on this earth. Let him be a beacon for all of us that reflects the greatness of your love and mercy for all mankind. Amen.
