very nice. i was a little taken back a little at the whole “God’s failure” thing but I think I understand.

That was really something. I’ve never seen anything like that "pocket way of the cross” - not a booklet, but apparently a really nice set of mini-Stations in a leather case. Anyone ever seen one like that , or know of a source?

I’m sure he meant His “apparent” failure. But we all know it was His TRIUMPH for us all. God Bless, Memaw

The “failure” was in the eyes of the non believers or those of little faith. By our human standards only, with our limited knowledge of God’s plan, his capture, torture and death could be viewed as a failure. Of course we understand that was part of his plan and his glorious resurrection put into focus that our creation is for a greater purpose than this physical life alone. The pope’s use of the word points out that our understanding of God’s perfect love is imperfect.

I am putting the pocket stations of the cross on my wish list for my next birthday 🙂
