Hello, I just have 2 questions I was kinda wondering about, but is it possible to have Christ the King as your Patron Saint?

Also, someone I know, when he prays the Divine Mercy Chaplet, he gets a glass of water and asks God to bless the water to make it the Sacred water that gushed forth from the Sacred side of Jesus, and then drinks it. Do you see this as wrong? I know we can ask God to bless our foods when we say grace before meals, but to me, I think what this person’s doing is wrong.

Thanks in advance to any and all responses!

Yes.

It is not wrong to ask God to bless our food, including water, but I would be leery about asking Jesus to change it to the water that gushed from his side and expecting him to do it. It sounds almost like the confection of the Eucharist, when the bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus. Now that is something we (meaning our priests and bishops) do, but only because Jesus commanded us to. It is not something we would presume to ask Him to do on our own.
