The criteria set by the relevant profession to decide what is a psychological disorder are such that homosexuality is not caught. That is a fact. The genesis of homosexuality is unknown, but the profession deems there is no need to deem it a disorder - after all:I was aware of your view that homosexuality is a disorder in the eyes of your religion due to the fact that homosexuals cannot procreate. I apologize if the ambiguity of myth #1 confused you. I honestly did not intend to dive in the CAFs view of homosexuality being a theological disorder, I was instead only determined to debunk the claim that it was a disorder in the eyes of modern psychology.
- it does not present a threat to other people;
- it does not prevent the one experiencing it operating effectively in the world;
- most who experience it come to accept it and don’t seek treatment;
- there is no accepted treatment.
And of course, as has been noted, the Catholic use of the term disorder has nothing to do with medical comsiderations - the context is only ever moral disorders, and this is widely applicable. Eg. Calumny is a disordered act.
