I do apologize for somewhat restating this question, but I remain confused on this point.
As I understand it, Mass can be served daily, and this is indeed, the ideal. However if one is, for example, able to go to a midweek Mass, say in the morning when they’re off, what reason do they have to be following the Liturgy of the Hours, and doing the prayer that could have been said at that time? Is the Liturgy of the Hours not as important, perhaps? Is there some other reasoning?
Also, is the justification for a daily Mass being served by a parish given in the Lord’s Prayer, as I assume? ("…Give us this day our daily bread…")?
