Sure, and I think he’s spot on.
The Economist recently ran an article on the rise of all sorts of bigotry in Europe. Hatred towards Muslims, anti-Semitism etc. We’ve also seen a rise in elections of right wing policies.

Although i personally do not support European leaders and the social strata from blocking Muslim immigrants to have mosques built, i do believe they have legitimate concerns over the issue. Migrant Muslims are demanding Sharia court systems, polygamy rights and other what-nots in many European nations. They are also concerned over Islam’s theocratical policies that may affect their lifestyle and culture. Besides, i believe this to be also a case for tit-for-tat. Christian Europe had long been fairly tolerant towards its Muslim immigrants, even helping build mosques for them, but the hospitality has never been reciprocrated. Muslim countries have for centuries, discriminated non-Muslims and the building of churches and now they seem to make themselves believe they are the victims when in a foreign land. You reap what you sow.

We can play semantics all you want. The term denaotes an individual who was received into the RCC but either fails to practice the faith or has converted to another faith, and that is what I am. Well, if you’re not a practising Catholic, then you’re not a Catholic. Period. Calling yourself a ‘Lapsed Catholic’ is as good as saying you attended a Catholic school therefore you are ‘Catholic’ in mind, or that you know everything about Catholicism. If this is your way of making yourself credible here, i regret to inform you that you may not succeed far with this, especially not in this forum.

My view isn’t based only on the film.
The Qur’an calls Jews “the greediest of all humankind” and says that war is “… ordained by Allah; all Muslims must be willing to fight, whether they like it or not” and that non-Muslims are not to be believed. This is from the Qur’an.
Walid Shoebat put everything into perspective when he said (I paraphrase) Jihad means" struggle." Mein Kampf means “my struggle.”
And lets not forget that many Muslims allied themselves with Adolf Hitler – then they jumped ship when it became clear the Nazis were losing. [Link]

Even if the man were not a fraud his point would be asinine. He has taken two words from two distinct linguistic groups, derived an approximate English translation of both to make the analogous, and from this concluded that they are ideologically similar.
How about this. Augustine wrote a beautiful book entitled “Confessions” as did Rousseau. I suppose this means Augustine was an anarchist.
Can you guess what major monotheistic faith had millions upon millions of members who both supported Hitler and fought in his Army? In fact this monotheistic faith had members of its leadership that actively supported Hitler and constituted a majority of the German population both civil and martial.

It has nothing to do with credability. I identified myself as “secular” you said this designation was “asinine” and started asking about my personal beliefs. No there won’t. Muslims should not be treated with violence. We should close our borders to them and avoid their regions at all cost. Nearly a majority of indigeonous Europeans contemplate doing so even now.
