First, I am new to the site and thank all for the welcoming.

In 2005 I experienced a vision of our Lord in Glory. I am not a cradle Catholic though have received the sacraments of Baptism, first holy communion, and confermation. I lived a somewhat dangerous life until this moment. The vision was the begining of a faith journey that has opened me to many miracles and also the not so pleasant experiences. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia, though do not consider myself so and struggle with this very often. Confused, when I experienced these things I had not the knowledge of
God to guide me. Since my return to our faith I have learned to investigate many things relating to our faith to help give me a sense of security. I believe myself to be accepting my temporal punishments for my unfaithfulness for so many years. Can anyone help on these topics? I try to reach out though few have answered. How do I accept an illness that comes with wonderfull experiences?

I won’t touch the schizophrenia part with a ten foot pole, as I’m not a doctor and I’m not interested in being banned.😦 Among the blessings associated with the rosary is a lessening of temporal punishment for those who pray at least the full 15 decade rosary over the course of each week. I would recommend you join the confraternity of the rosary at this site here. I am a member as well as St.Louis de Montfort. 😃

I think, Inego de Loyola, has summed it up pretty good. I really think prayer is the most powerful weapon in your arsenal. And the Rosary is at the top of the list.

I’ll add you to my prayers, if you like. Never hurts to have extra prayers.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners: and purify your hearts, ye double minded.9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into sorrow. 10 Be humbled in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

peace
