May is my sobriety month - as of May 4th, 2014 I can claim 22 years of continuous sobriety from alcohol, illegal drugs or legal drugs used illegally!

It IS possible to recover - one day at a time!

For all You have permitted,
Thank You God.

For all You have forgiven me,
Thank You God.

For all You have prepared for me,
Thank You God.

For the death You have chosen for me,
Thank you God.

For the place you are keeping for me in heaven,
Thank You God.

For having created me to love You for eternity,
Thank You God.

Congratulations and Blessings. My dad was an alcoholic and after 25 years of not seeing him, I met him again and got to know him as a sober man, (he quit drinking about 20 years before) and we became very close. I am so thankful I got to know him again and he died a few years later a peaceful man, came back into the Church and died with a priest at his side. God Bless, Memaw

God bless, LSK. You are witness to the virtues of serenity, courage and wisdom as well as gratitude and hope and encouragement to others. I remember celebrating your 21 years of sobiety and I can’t believe this year has gone so quickly !

God grant all of us the grace to live according to Your will.
 
Congratulations LSK.

People like you give me hope for my Mom that she may yet find her way to sobriety before the damage to her body becomes completely unrepairable. I wish with all my heart that she can see how much better her life could be without alcohol and drugs.

If you wouldn’t mind, could you please pray for a man whom I love very much? He’s been suffering from addictions for several years, had a rough childhood. He doesn’t seem to know what to do with his life. I hope he can come to place his life in our Lord’s hands and find a more fulfilling life. Thank you for sharing your story! 👍
