I thought it was funny and cute. I don’t think anybody was disparaging God or the Blessed Mother in the above case. I actually even think Jesus would have laughed at some of those!I find humour in nearly everything, except for disparaging “comedy” against my God and His Blessed Mother.
Hope not, Remember the poor fig tree.I thought it was funny and cute. I don’t think anybody was disparaging God or the Blessed Mother in the above case.
The fig tree was an example to bear fruit in and out of season.Hope not, Remember the poor fig tree.
Correct. It’s like the time they had an article on one the front page of one of the tabloids that Christ had returned…with a picture! If the article is disparaging of anyone (and it’s not meant to be a put down article), it’s people who took such “apparitions” seriously. The point of the post is to not take seriously these claims.
I think the peanut looks more like Marilyn Monroe than Jesus’ mother.
And…the Cheeto and Mother Teresa, those are priceless.
I’m sure your God won’t mind at all…since he’s supposedly the artist who whipped up all these concoctions.
(tho a few of them look man-made faked)
.
Cute!Pretty cute, just goes to show we’ll see what we want. Actually I thought the KitKat one looked a lot like the shroud of Turin. And Jesus on a grape looked more like Mary to me. Must be the family resemblance.![]()
Pax Christi!Don’t get me wrong. I’m Catholic. I also believe in Lourdes, Fatima, the Virgin of Guadalupe, different apparitions, but ones recognized by the Church.
That’s why I thought this was funny, because we have some people who will do…anyway.
Well, God is everyone’s God.I think the peanut looks more like Marilyn Monroe than Jesus’ mother.

It’s sometimes harder to also tell on this medium of communication things like tone of voice, that would normally be obvious in a regular conversation. We honestly meant no harm, were just playing around, but no disrespect intended, I assure you.Perhaps I am too quick to defend our Blessed Mother. I am sure the good Lord can take care of himself. These images do show the stupidity of men which I find most behind humour. I am sure I should smile more often.
Nope, didn’t feel any better. Aussies are more into sardonic humour. Sorry if I was a spoil sport.
I should have realised you were not seriously attacking our God or His Blessed Mother, Clearwater. Sorry. God Bless.Oh yeah, by the way, keep defending Our Lord and Our Lady!Wish more people felt that way!
