They missed a few. Sadly, I’ve seen all of these.
- Channel your inner Pavarotti when singing. If you’re drowning out a mic’ed choir and the organ, pull it back a little. Even if the choir and/or organist are horrible.
- Recite the rosary (or any other devotional) during Mass.
- Sit in the front section or along the aisles for celebrations that might involve incense, if even a whif of it makes you cough, sneeze, or complain to everyone around you.
- Don’t forget to put your ringer to mute. This goes double if the ringtone is death metal, gangsta rap, or anything at max volume.
- If you must answer your phone (physician on call or something like that), do not carry on the conversation in the sanctuary. Take it at least into the gathering space outside. And please no speaker phone.
