My dear Megan,

I wasn’t able to post last night but I got my rosary out and prayed it for you as I usually do. I couldn’t help thinking that I wish I had been able to kneel by your bed and take your hand while I prayed but my heart was with you just the same!

Tonight finds me just before I begin my rosary for you. I can hear the thunder outside and earlier there was the rain. God’s tears, someone has said. My heart prays for you to be allowed to continue your journey with your family but I know that what I want and think is not always the best in the long run so I will just have to leave the results in the hands of the LORD, I know that He loves each of us and wants only the things that will be to our good!

I do pray that you will have the warm comfort of the Holy Spirit all through your days but especially at night when all is quiet and it is easy to let go of hope. I pray that in your alone hours that the Holy Spirit will hold you close and let you know just how much you are loved!

Dear Megan,**

We have come to the end of another day, another 24 hours that we were blessed with! I’ve been thinking that we never know how many there will be so it is always good to do something good and to give thanks, each and every day…

I often think of Joni Eareckson Tada and the fact that she was almost totally paralyzed and yet she has gone on to live a God-filled life in every way. I have read her books and sometimes I cringe when I read of the things that have been said to her by those who loved her and yet felt so incapable of being there for her with the almost constant care that she required. In truth, its always hard to be a friend, a true friend, to someone like her, and yet, those who took the plunge and invested themselves in her life were richly rewarded in ways that they couldn’t even have imagined!

My dear young friend, I wish I could be there for you like that! I wish I could be a spiritual support to you and that I could reach out and actually transfer strength to you so that you could have what you need to complete your journey with your family! I know that I am just one, but there are many others out there who are also praying for you and spiritually I pray that we will be able to join hands together, in our prayers, and that the LORD will look down and grant us this blessing that we ask for; . . .your life! A rosary will go up for you this night and many arrow prayers where I look toward heaven and pray a few words.

Keep your hope, Megan,. . .because God is very much with you and He desires only your best! We all continue to pray!

Dear Megan,

I am having trouble staying signed in on CAF so I am not able to post as much as before. that does NOT mean that I am not remembering and praying for you daily! Even if it is at 2 a.m. or later, I still get my rosary out and pray! You are very special to Our Father in Heaven and I wonder sometimes if He draws near and whispers mysteries in your ear as you sleep.

Thanksgiving is a difficult time to be alone and no one is more alone than someone who is in pain. Never doubt your worth to the Lord and keep your heart open to receive His Blessings, because they will be there!

My heart is ever turned towards you and I think of you often during the day and in the evening. It is a blessing to be able to pray for you and to hold you up before the Lord! May you be wrapped in the consolations of the Holy Spirit as you travel this difficult path.
