O holy protectress of those who are in utmost need, shining as a star of hope in the midst of darkness, in patience and fortitude as the patriarch Job, scourge of devils, health of the sick, deliverer of those in extreme need, admiration of saints and model of all states! With confident trust, and firmly united to the adorable will of my God, through the merits of my only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and in particular of that painful crown of thorns which with a tender devotion thou didst daily contemplate; through the merits of the most sweet Virgin Mary and thine own excellent graces and virtues, I implore thee with my whole heart and soul, to obtain my earnest petition, provided it be for the greater glory of God and my salvation, please bless this poor man and his family. Comfort them and help carry the burdens so heavy at this time.

Guide and purify my their desires, O holy protectress and most dear advocate, that they may obtain the pardon of all their sins and the grace to persevere daily, as thou didst, in walking with courage and generosity and unwavering fidelity upon the heavenward path on which the love of our sweet Lord desires to lead me. Amen.

*Update: Thank you all for your prayers, I know they are helping. He is still in very serious condition. He has had part of his brain/skull removed to alleviate pressure on his brain as other efforts have not been successful. And, he has developed pneumonia. Despite this and his other extensive injuries, I have hope that if it be God’s will, he will survive and make a full recovery. I pray this is the case. *

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
Having lost my father in a car accident, I know only too well the pain this family feels.

May God in His infinite mercy and wisdom bring healing to this young man.
And may God watch over this young family and care for them all of their days.
Amen.
