That’s how long it has been since I last attended Mass.

I finally got off my lazy butt and went to the 5:15pm Mass at a beautiful church, Holy Redeemer, downtown (isthmuscatholic.org/index.cfm?load=page&page=270)

It was a pleasant surprise to find it to be a bilingual (English / Spanish), and to have a few moments prior to sit in Adoration. Due to my work schedule, I am waiting until Tuesday to make my confession and receive the Eucharist, and I can’t wait 🙂

Now if I could just make this goin’ to Mass thing a habit…

Holy Redeemer is a wonderful parish! Its my church of choice when I’m in the Madison area. They have a wonderful Tridentine Mass at 7:00 am on Sunday morning.

👍 I am completely smitten with it, and have been since I first poked my head about a year and a half ago, when we moved to Madison. I am heartbroken, though…Back when I was researching the Cathedral Parish, I initially misread the time for the Tridentine Mass. I only just realized that it was 7 AM, not PM!! Ah, well 🙂
 
I was the perfect example of the spoiled kid, given the ultimate gift and threw it away.

I was so stupid that I didn’t realize that Holy Mass and the Sacred Eucharist was a gift from Jesus (GOD!) to us.

Only after I was in prison and unable to go to Mass did I realize that I had missed the opportunity to share in the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the food our souls need to grow.

Now I cry at the words, “This is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, happy are those who are called to his supper.”

Jesus has invited me everyday and so often I refused His love.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!
