In Christian Prayer, there is a prayer under the 34th week of Ordinary Time. I know that the Solemnity of Christ the King is used for that Sunday, so when is that prayer prayed?

Weekdays between Christ the King and First Sunday of Advent, if no memorials/feasts/solemnities are observed.

At the Office of Reading during ferial weekdays of that week I believe.

Note that one uses the weekday prayers specified for Morning, Evening and Night Prayer. Use the 34th Sunday prayer for the Office of Readings, and the Daytime Prayers on the Weekdays.

The Daytime Prayers have their own specified prayers as well - only during some of the seasons do they use the Proper Prayers

Yes, the prayer for this 34th Week of the Year can be used as the concluding prayer for the Office of Readings on ferial days during the Ordinary Time. But not just during the ferial days between the Solemnity of Christ the King and Advent; during the Office of Readings for ferial days in Ordinary Time, any of the concluding prayers for all 34 weeks/Sundays of the Year can used.

Thanks. I use the one-volume and the information on the Daytime Prayers is a bit thin.

I know in the monastic office the option to use the Sunday prayers for all 34 weeks applies to Lauds and Vespers as well during the week when there is no memorial, feast or solemnity. It’s what’s done at our abbey.
