Is that true that God loves each and every human person so much, His love is greater than if the whole world loved that one person?

In other words, if every single person loved you (and I’m talking EVERY SINGLE), it would not even match the love of God?

Make sense? 😛

Of course! God’s love is perfect, human love isn’t, not even close. Quantity doesn’t equal quality.

God’s love for each of us is infinite. It is infinitely more than the love ever expressed by every person since the beginning of time.

This goes for God’s wisdom, power, and all the other God is All-_____'s.

As noted, God’s love is infinite. He could not love any person any more, or any less, regardless of our state in life or our ability to understand or return that love.

Julian of Norwich was credited with saying something to the effect that “God dances with joy at the mere thought of you.” If we reach a point of actually being able to accept that, how can we not do everything in our power to return that love?

Of course!

As noted, God’s love is infinite. No matter how many people there have been or are or will be in the world, it is a finite, countable number. And our human love is finite. Multiply that finite amount of love by the number of people in the world and you still end up with a finite amount of love. It could never compare to God’s infinite love.

That’s what I thought but wanted to ask. Thanks guys! 🙂
