3rd Edition Revised Jerusalem translation

Have had it on my Kindle since it came out and I’ve used it in study of specific passages.

Currently laid up after surgery, so, I decided to really dig into this translation.

Have to say, it is by far the most readable translation I’ve encountered without being dumbed down (yes, Living Bible translation, I am looking at you). Doing a front to back read, it makes me sad when I need to recharge the Kindle!!!

Is this the one, translated by Henry Wansbrough? He is believed to be the sole author of the long document titled The Jewish People and their Sacred Scriptures in the Christian Bible, published in 2001 by the Pontifical Biblical Commission.
