3yo Child Diagnosed with Leukemia

Our dear friends have just received the news that their grand-daughter has Leukemia,
Their daughter’s first child, and the daughter has just found out that she is pregnant with their 2nd child.
This strong Catholic family need our prayers and asked me to request
prayers from this group. The child’s name is Eleanor and she is only 3years old.
They are waiting for an Angel flight to take her to a Hospital.
I thank you all in advance for keeping her and this family in your prayers. Pete.

Prayers for Eleanor
St. Gerard, who, like the Saviour, loved children so tenderly
and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death,
listen to us who are pleading for this sick child.
We thank God for the great gift of Eleanor
and ask Him to restore this child to health
if such be His holy will.

St. Gerard,
This favour, we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers.
Please keep her parents, grandparents and all other relatives strong
and safe in your prayers to our Lord.

Almighty and merciful Father, by the power of your command,
drive away from her all forms of sickness and disease.
Restore strength to Eleanor’s body and joy to her spirit,
so that in her renewed health, she may long bless and serve you,
now and forevermore.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from the darkness,
I call upon you now to send forth your miracle-working power into every aspect of Eleanor’s being.
In the same way that you spoke unto the dust of the ground
when you created humankind in your own image,
I ask you to send forth your healing power into her body.
Send forth your word and command every cell, electrical and chemical impulse,
tissue, joint, ligament, organ, gland, muscle, bone and every molecule in her body
to come under complete and perfect health, strength, alignment, balance and harmony.
It is through you that she lives and moves and has her being.
With every breath Eleanor takes, she lives under your life-giving grace.
I ask you to touch her now with the same miracle-working power that
You used when you fashioned her inside her mother’s womb.
As surely as you have created Eleanor in your image and likeness,
you can also recreate her now and restore her health.
Please fill her with your healing power. Cast out all that should not be inside of her.
I ask you to mend all that is broken, root out every sickness and disease,
open all blocked arteries and veins, restore her internal organs,
rebuild her damaged tissues, remove all inflammation and cleanse Eleanor
of all infections, viruses and destructive forms of bacteria.
Let the warmth of your healing love flood Eleanor’s entire being,
so that her little body will function the way it was created to be,
whole and complete, renewed in your perfect health.
I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

Heavenly Father, watch with us over your child Eleanor and grant that she may be restored to that perfect health which it is yours alone to give. Relieve her pain, guard her from all danger, restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength, and raise her up to a life of service to you.

I have not heard anymore at this point,
Once she makes it to the hospital
the family will all drive interstate
that’s over 520 miles / 830 Km’s
  • about 8 hours 30 mins driving,
    to be with Eleanor and her parents.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Eleanor . You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Eleanor 's body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Eleanor , who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,

Update.
Treatment has begun with induction therapy, which usually lasts four to six weeks. This is a phase of intense treatment aimed at destroying as many abnormal white blood cells as possible. A biopsy of her hip bone has also been taken. Eleanor’s Mother has other family members staying with her now. All are grateful for all of your thoughts and prayers.

Once again I thank all of you and ask you to keep them in your prayers for some time to come. May God Bless You.
