If I take a Benadryl I will be up for a day, hanging wallpaper and re-grouting the bathroom. It makes me super hyper.

That’s interesting. I didn’t know it had that effect on some. I can’t take it at all as it induces me into a sloth-like state.

My husband and I each have TSA PreChek and it’s some of the best money we’ve spent, travel-wise. Your 4-year old is eligible to have access on your ticket. No wrestling with shoes, no dealing with taking out your quart-size bag, etc. SO much easier, not to mention generally shorter lines.

It did that to one of our daughters, too. She was just wired. And we thought she was antsy without Benadryl!!!

By the way, a bunch of airports have gone to no-shoe-removal-for-12-and-under, which is a blessed relief.

We had our oldest two kids during the dark era where you had to take off tiny children’s shoes for security.
