Saudi Arabia will get this year around SR148 Billion (US$40 Billion) from Muslims performing Umrah to Mecca throughout the year, (that excludes Hajj revenue).

Then how do you expect them not to promote Islam with all possible ways to keep that revenue coming yearly!

That shows that Islam is still about money as it was in the past through Jizya, and now through Umrah and Hajj.

That’s exactly what I have in mind. Poor Muslims performing Islamic duties are benefiting their Arab masters. I’m curious what do they do with all of the slaughtered animals during Hajj? People are saying that it goes to feed the poor. When I was still KSA, I tried to ask the poor Indian and Bangladeshi about feeding the poor, but nobody would give me an answer. So, I assume that the meats never go to the poor, but to HypderPanda or Tamimi (Saudi grocery chain).

You know, those fancy chains are owned by VIPs and if such thing happens, no one would ever know.

The point that Islam is a streaming revenue for SA, so marketing Islam is being done at its best, from Dawa to recruiting converted westerners to promote Islam more and more.
