I purchased this recently and thought it was VERY cool. My sister sent me the link:

These are 40 different Catholic saints (including Our Lady of Guadalupe and Jesus as the Divine Mercy) depicted in very simple cross-stitch patterns. The creator is selling the patterns online for $3 through the end of the month. Once you have paid you will receive an email with a link to access the patterns. They are very simple (think Minecraft-style character shapes) but very beautiful, and are designed to be sewn by children. This is a great way to teach your children about the saints and I find the work very calming.
If you don’t sew yourself, cross-stitch is VERY easy to learn as you need to practice only two stitches - cross stitch and backstitch (used for outlines and the names of saints). To make the patterns you’ll need to buy Aida cloth (I like 14-count, which is 14 stitches to the inch; the higher the count, the smaller each stitch will be - one “square” between the holes equals one stitch), an embroidery hoop, embroidery needles (regular sewing needles may not work as embroidery floss is thicker than sewing thread and the eyes may be too small) and the floss stated in the pattern. (Embroidery floss is listed by DMC number; this is a common manufacturer of floss. Each number matches to a particular colour. When you go to the craft store the floss is sold by skein in numbered trays. You match the number to the tray and pick a skein of that colour. You’ll likely only need one skein of each colour as a skein has 6 strands and you only 1-3 strands at a time for stitching.)
You might think about making a “sampler” for your family that’s got a saint for each of you. If your name is not listed, you might pick a saint that means something special to you (for example, Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Joseph to represent parents, or choosing one’s Confirmation saint).
