40 yr anniversary today

It’s my 40th year anniversary today.
I would have loved to have gone to Mass at the church I got married in.
DH doesn’t practice his faith at all anymore, and I don’t feel like going by myself.

I’m just going to go to Mass at my regular church, but I’m a little sad today, even though It’s our anniversary. The big deal to him is going out to dinner. Oh well. 😦

Pray for a conversion for my husband, please, as I do every day, but today for some reason, I have sadness (which I know is just a feeling and I shouldn’t rely on it)

Congratulations on your Ruby Anniversary, that’s a big milestone. I’m so sorry your husband doesn’t have faith anymore, and I pray that he returns to believing.

Happy Anniversary and congratulations. I can empathize with you because when we celebrate our 42 this year I will attend Mass by myself also. But, I will continue to pray for my husband’s conversion as well as yours. Just FYI, tomorrow we will begin praying a novena to St. Monica on PrayMoreNovenas.com, why don’t you join us as a gift to you both. St. Monica is a powerful intercessor and an inspiration having prayed for her son, St Augustine, conversion for 15 years. I will pray for you to have her patience and faith as I pray for myself also,

Conversion Prayer for Family and Friends

Heavenly Father, Saint Alban was converted by a priest whom he sheltered from persecutions and rescued by changing clothes with him. As the patron saint of converts, I ask him to pray with me for all the people I know who have not yet converted. O Lord, remove from their lives all the crutches they’ve been leaning on when they should be turning to You. When people reach their bottom, help them to see that they have nowhere else to turn, so that they look upwards to You and realize it’s You they need. Send angels and people into their lives who will deliver them into Your arms. Saint Alban, pray for us.

Dear Lord, You took on our human nature, to suffer and die, to win salvation for all of us. Look graciously on those who have drifted away from You and the Faith. Grant them the grace, O Lord, to see how much you love and care for them, so that they may return to Your fold. Yes, I wil pray for him. Continue to be a joyful, faithful witness of love and devotion to your spouse and Christ and he will see this… TRUST, God is faithful. Rejoice that your marraige is still together and continue to pray for His will as sometimes we know it takes time… (ask St. Monica or many other Saints!) Blessings to you this day!
