Firstly, may the mercy of God be with the souls of those dead people…

Secondly, I brought this up because I remembered one post by our fellow member “hamba2han” regarding the one mosque saved back in 2004 tsunami and the propaganda which accompanied it during that time by many Muslims around the world.

So very, very sad.

Actually rounded building have been proven to withstand all kinds of weather even hurricanes. Notice also that the building in hamba2han post was on pillars so water could easily flow through the building allowing for it to stay standing.

Amen. And, in a practical level, does anybody know if there’s an emergency repsonse situation in this situation? The Red Cressent or some relief group is helping out?
