450th anniversary of Trent

Dec. 4th is the anniversary of the closing of Trent. I have not read all the documents but the many I have read are rich in Theology. Praise Jesus for the gift of His Church!
 
I don’t blame the news services who have already or will cover Trent’s 450th anniversary … but I have to wonder why there was so little coverage last year about the 500th – yes 500th – anniversary of the Fifth Lateran Council. I guess it goes to show that news services like the sensational and the controversial.
 
To be fair…most Catholics would struggle to define what Trent was let alone Lateran V.
