Does anyone ever get on 4chan? I’m just wondering since I only get on the safe boards…

I sometimes go on /x/, just because I enjoy looking into urban legends and local folk tales and things.
But yes, almost all of 4chan is incredibly awful and full of hateful people.

No, I don’t go there. It’s one of the few places on the internet that really scares me. You look at what they do to people and it’s like, “Nope, not letting that happen to me!”

It may seem strange, but I’ve been on those 4chan boards like /a/, /jp/ and /tg/ for 6 years now. There are good guys and girls on there, but they’re lost. They’re suffering.

These posters need guidance. They need shepherds. They need us to be there for them even if they are reviled by all others. I do what I can to pass the gift of faith, and more voices added to mine would be welcome.

I’ve head of it many a-times before, but considering the crazy things you hear of, I don’t think I want to visit the website. Maybe someday, if I feel like it… mischievous snicker

STAY AWAY. It really is the worst corner of the internet. Child pornography, excessive cyberbullying, etc. Really, really, nasty.

It is difficult to even find a comparison of such a moral cesspool in fiction.

Is it really that bad? I hear of these Brony wars, sure, but gee…

I like /x/ for the urban exploration threads and to have a good laugh at some of the conspiracy theories, and /tg/ is pretty cool sometimes.

/b/ and /pol/ are definitely places to avoid for anyone with even a tiny amount of scruples, but most of the safe boards are cool and somewhat like any other message board system once you get used to the board culture.
